Drawing inspiration from our Singaporean National Service memories, we set out to craft an engaging experience infused with challenge and a unique sense of local nostalgia.
Reveille is a sleek and intuitive stealth game where the primary objective is to deliver as much food as possible before sunrise, all while evading detection. Your adversaries, including superiors, are on constant patrol throughout the map, while obstacles like CCTVs and locked doors add an extra layer of challenge to navigate.
The enemies in Reveille dynamically respond to environmental shifts and react to audio cues generated by player actions. This sophisticated AI system elevates the gameplay experience, eliciting feelings of stress and tension as players navigate through challenges. Drawing heavy inspiration from renowned military stealth games like Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell, Reveille's art style captures the essence of these iconic titles.
This project was developed solely using the Unity engine. Within the team, my primary responsibility revolved around the creation and seamless integration of artistic elements. This included designing visuals, crafting immersive environments, and ensuring that the artistic direction aligned with the overall gameplay experience.
