This project was developed for a game design module in my freshman year of university. With the end goal of creating a simple yet addictive frenzy themed game, I worked within a team of designers and artists to achieve the desired balance of challenge and entertainment. Our collaborative efforts involved brainstorming unique gameplay mechanics, designing vibrant and engaging visuals, and refining the overall user experience.

As the lead programmer, this project allowed me to hone my familiarity with C# and the overall Unity engine. The coding phase involved implementing game mechanics, such as player controls, scoring systems, and special features unique to a frenzy-themed game.In the initial project phase, we focused on conceptualising fundamental gameplay mechanics and defining key design pillars.

Subsequently, my focus transitioned to developing a functional prototype employing placeholder assets. This strategic approach enabled us to assess the feasibility of our ideas and preemptively identify any potential pitfalls that could arise in the later stages of the development pipeline.

In the concluding phase of the project, my responsibility consisted of refining and streamlining existing game scripts, with the goal of producing a stable build for release. This involved meticulous polishing and cleanup efforts to enhance the overall performance and reliability of the final product. By dedicating attention to script optimization, my focus was on ensuring a smooth and robust experience for end-users during the release phase.
